So we are almost to seven whole days of this journey and I am so happy to see everyone is becoming more aware of the food choices you make everyday! I found this amazing website I would like everyone to check out: http://www.livingfoodsinstitute.com/index.htm
This lady has a phenomenal story check out her bio. Also, I would like everyone to think about going to one of her FREE seminars. The next seminar is not until May 18 which is a Monday from 7-9 pm. Hopefully, we can all go together it would be wonderful to experience it as a group. She teaches about raw and vegetarian lifestyles and how she healed her illnesses without medicine but just good healthy food!
This week is a full week so everyone should be doing two full all raw days. That means fruit, veggies, raw nuts and seeds. Raw nuts and seeds are not roasted and don't have salt or sugar on them. Cheese, yogurt, croutons and even some salad dressings are not considered raw foods. Remember that you have to eat twice as much when just eating all raw foods. Eat every 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Happy healthy days!

Waaaazzzzuuuppp! Happy People,
ReplyDeleteI just got to tell ya, I am so excited about this health thing, I don't know what to do. I am really doing it up. Let me tell you about my day.
This morning I woke up and I excercised for about 45 min without even getting out of the bed. lol lol. I drank my lemon/water and ate a bowl of cereal. For Lunch my husband and I went to Doc Greens and Had a wonderful salad. Wow it was great!!! I finally got a chance to go to the grocery store and bought all healthy stuff. It was expensive but I am really excited so it didn't matter. I was thinking about fitting in my 2 piece size 6/7. wwwwooooo I am EXCITED. For a late dinner, I made a salad and a signature smoothie. OMG!!! Ask me if it was good...YES.
Oh, and guess what. I made me a big bowl of trail mix. That was amazing. Yall I don't even know how to explain how excited I am. Next week, I will start working out for an hour in the mornings.
Oh, Oh, Oh, guess what else... I made me lunch for tomorrow. Salad...a cup of grapes....a cup of trail mix...a banana...an apple. It is all in my lunch bag. I will be drinking water. I am so EXCITED!!! I will let you know how my lunch went... Until Next Time.
Hello Ladies, today was my first raw day, and it wasnt bad at all. I started the day with 20 minutes of situps and pushups. I did my lemon and water and headed off to work. For lunch I had a Sweet Tomatoe Salad with 3 glass of water. My salad consisted of romaine lettuse, carrots, raisins, sunfire seed, sprouts, mangos, apples slices, grapefruits, and lemon drippings with two tablespoons of ranch dressing. For medical reasons I had to have a little more than just fruit and salad, so I had a sandwich which consisted of wheat bread and a thin slice of ham. Along with the sandwhich I had some water. This completed my meal for the day. I must say that I really feel good and I have more energy now than when I stop smoking. Thanks Sgt. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi wonderful women!! Yesterday was my 1st raw day! I must say I did well. I woke up, did my morning stretches, drank my hot lemon water, had a fruit smoothie (which wasn't that good, fruit wasn't very sweet), and was off. I snacked on my trail mix of raw almonds w/ dried cranberries & blue berries all day, with some raw carrots mixed in. For lunch I had a mixed spinach salad w/ a mustard vinaigrette.
ReplyDeleteWhen I got off work, I went to my fav store for healthy food (outside of the farmers market & whole foods) Publix in buckhead! I got some fresh cut fruit salads (since I haven't a clue how to pick & cut certain fruit) some apples & bananas (my fav!)...I also got some hummus & baked pita chips, some boars head turkey (for sandwiches), my fav boars head cheese (Cream Havarti w/ jalapenos) and publix freshly baked natural 5 grain Italian bread. I try to get boars head deli selections for sandwiches because they're all natural w/ no fillers. I after buying all this food, when I got home, I ate another salad, a banana & some apple slices. Then went to bed! I was getting a bit too tempted by the hummus & deli stuff! LOL (which is why I'm just now posting!)
All in all it went well. I'll do it again Wednesday (I think!)0 I've noticed an increase in energy through out the day. I used to go through highs and lows, but now my energy level is beginning to become pretty consistent, unless I didn't sleep the night before.
Also, I think I'm going to do an herbal detox (CKLS) for about a week. My mom used to have me do them (on a smaller scale) when I was in junior high/high school. I will email the info to you guys.
Hey Ladies. I hope everyone is finding themselves especially blessed this week. I have had a really good week so far. I'll start with Sunday because it was the first day of the week. I, like P, was in the pizza meeting. It was tough, but I believe the three of us in there kept each other honest and we were support for each other. A chord of three strands is not easily broken. Praise the Lord! I was extremely hungry leaving that meeting and everything bad to eat was in my cravings, but i did not eat it. I baked chicken for me and hubby and that is all I ate the rest of the day. Exhaustion helps because I went to sleep a few hours after eating the chicken after church. Monday I had kale with baby bellas. It was awesome! My first time eating kale. I was eager to try it after learning its benefits. That evening I ate only grapes. I wasn't very hungry Monday evening for some reason. Today was a raw day. Not so bad, I ate more oranges to keep me feeling full. I had salad of course for lunch and tonight will have veggies. Not so bad this time. I won't do raw again until Thursday. Tomorrow I think I'll go for more Kale. Yum!
ReplyDeleteHello, ladies. I apologize for my absence. I have been out of town enjoying my spring break. I am proud to say that despite my vacation, I have maintained the program. I will need to make that trip to the grocery store early in the morning so let's hope I don't give in into my Ruffles craving!
